These branches of roads in Paris, France are absolutely incredible and beautiful. This huge road junction, The Place Charles De Gaulle, is the meeting point of twelve straight avenues including one of its popular avenues, Champs-Elysees. This historic place is also called as “Square Star”.
29 De Julio Avenue – Buenos Aires, Argentina
With its wide roads of 20 lanes, 9 De Julio Avenue in Argentina is actually the Widest Avenue in the world!

3Judge Harry Pregerson Interchange – California
Los Angeles Times described this interchange as the “biggest, tallest, most costly traffic structure” and ” “the first time the state’s traffic engineers have integrated three modes of transportation–light-rail trains, high-occupancy vehicles and individual cars–into one giant intersection”. This huge intersection, though confusing as it looks, was structured with that architectural design with aim to avoid traffic jam and promote safety.
4Trans Tokyo Bay Motorway – Japan
Seems like an ordinary bridge over waters but Japan’s Trans Tokyo Bay Motorway is the fourth longest underwater tunnel. YES, an underwater tunnel. Looks like the edge is the end of the road, but it is NOT. A part of it is submerged as it becomes an underwater tunnel which connects to the Kawasaki in Kanagawa Prefecture. Cool, isn’t it?

Well, yes, the Narrowest Street in the World is found in Germany. Its narrowest part is 31 centimeters and its widest is 50 centimeters. Visit this place and dare to fit yourself in!
7Lake Pontchartrain Causeway – New Orleans, Louisiana
Just WOW. You must have thought how long this bridge is. Well, indeed, it is The Longest Bridge Over Water in the World since 1969. It might be a little scary to cross over this bridge but then you’d see how breathtaking the view is.
8Great Ocean Road – Victoria, Australia
This coastal road in Australia is actually one of the most popular road-touring routes. Aside from its very scenic and beautiful view, others would stop for surfing breaks, rock stacks, and maybe just a for an amazing scenery.

It must be really nice to take a peek in that beautiful view by the sea but it is not for free. Too bad. This 17-Mile Drive is the Most Expensive Road in the World as everyone who wishes to travel through here needs to pay $9.25. By the way, cars are only allowed to go through. They also call it as the Heaven-linking road or the Heaven’s Gate Road as further you go, it gets steeper and higher. This road is located within Tianmen Mountain in China. Many visitors have gone long way through this road to visit the large temple on its summit as well as the scenic views.
