Cyberpunk 2077, one of the most exciting RPG games, is finally here and we are super stoked. It is already breaking streaming records and why not? This game has been developed by CD Projekt Red, the critically acclaimed Polish developers behind The Witcher series. With that much talent and quality going into this ambitious sci-fi role-playing game, it’s fair to say why we our adrenaline is high! Set in the dystopian future of 2077 America, players will create their character and enter the Night City, a world of crime, corruption and all the cybernetics implants you could want. Players will navigate through this open world, choosing their own distinct play-style, as they attempt to become legends of the future.

As Night City is one of the busiest, most detailed game worlds on PC, so it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Therefore, we have come up with 10 Best Things to do in PS5 CyberPunk 2077 Game.

Watch the video till the end to know the topmost thing that you must do in this game to enjoy it fully. So, let’s cut to the chase without wasting anymore time!

10Increase V’s Athletic Ability

Increasing V’s athletic ability makes the character more efficient and is highly useful while navigating the Night City. Especially, because the character will be able to open locked doors, and hijack cars. It will also mean that they are stronger in battle, able to carry more in their inventory, and can maintain speed when running. Therefore, the easiest way to improve V’s Athletics is to run, walk, and jump as much as possible because V’s abilities will increase simply by performing actions. The more he will perform the more game will let you hack into mainframes to get eurodollars (in-game money) and crafting components. So, make sure V is improving his crafting skills.

9Loot things and visit drop points

Looting dominates the world of Cyberpunk 2077. You’ll be constantly shoving stuff like weapons, junk items, etc. in your pockets as you play. This looting helps you generate money in the game by selling guns and armor. Most enemies will drop either a gun or piece of armor after you kill them which you further sell at shops. Another option is crafting, you can craft weapons, armor and more, plus use dismantled weapons parts to upgrade weapons and armor you already own. Apart from these two common options, third option that you will have is visiting drop points. Since V has a carry limit, so eventually you’re gonna run out of space and end up encumbered, which means you can’t sprint. You can sell stuff at shops, but the easier solution is finding one of the many drop points scattered around the city. They appear as a cardboard box icon on your map and you can sell items to them, the same way you would to a vendor.

8Fully Utilize Ocular system

You also get the option of upgrading V’s body in the game. To do this, you’ll need to see what’s called a “ripperdoc” – a doctor who implants cyberware into you. The first cybernetic implant you get, as part of the main story, is a pair of new Kiroshi Optics eyes. Once you have them, you can zoom the camera in slightly. And here’s the catch which the game doesn’t tell you- it is that you can zoom in further. It is done either by using your mouse’s scroll wheel, or tapping up on your controller’s directional pad. This is good for scoping out distant enemies, cameras, and turrets while in stealth, or just for admiring the incredible detail in Night City as you wander the streets. That’s one of 11 possible cyberware categories, and each should be used to help you progress through Night City.

7Cash in on Side gigs

There are “gigs”, apart from the side quests, which provide you with the opportunity to get cash. A “fixer” will ask you to go do a job for them, like incapacitate an enemy, sneak through a hideout and place a tracker on a vehicle, or take an at-risk ally from one place to another. In return for this job, you will get a reward in the form of cash. So, do take up these gigs as they are fun and often challenging, and won’t take more than 10 or 20 minutes of your time. Since Cyberpunk is a game where you get to own a lot of cool cars, various upgrades and weapons, you are required to earn lots of eurodollars. Therefore, cashing in on these gigs is the best way.

6Travel more via car/motorbike

You get an option of fast travel in the game. These fast travel points are present throughout the city that you’ll be able to use, especially tempting when your objective is on the other side of Night City. But we would suggest you to travel more via car/motorbike. As there is so much to do in Night City, you’re bound to find something cool if you travel manually. Often you’ll find multiple cool things, and you’ll often come across crimes being committed, with the Night City Police Department paying you if you break it up and kill the perpetrators. Fighting crime often also yields solid loot, which you can sell for cash.

5Use I Spy perk

It’s possible for V to overheat in combat when being targeted by enemy Netrunners. Obviously, this can cause all sorts of problems for V and really slow the player down in battle. Therefore, you need to stop V from getting overheated. There are ways to avoid overheating like- shooting cameras, killing the hackers, or getting away in time before the hacking bar fills completely, but players should look into unlocking the I Spy perk. The I Spy Perk can be found in the Intelligence tree and Quickhacking. This will allow V to detect the Netrunners on the battlefield and he can strategise accordingly.

4Romancing Meredith Stout

Early in the game, during The Pickup quest, you’ll be given the opportunity to work with Meredith Stout, a foul-tempered corpo representing the Militech mega corporation. If you play your cards right, you’ll get a unique romance option with Stout slightly later on in the story. You’ll get a call from her inviting you to her hotel room. If you choose to go, a romance cutscene will play, after which you’ll wake up alone in the room. And you’ll be rewarded with an iconic weapon, which is the highest tier of loot in the game. And this weapon in particular, a melee weapon, is unique. If you don’t choose the correct options during the Pickup, you’ll be locked out of the romance and you won’t be able to get the unique weapon, as it’s an exclusive item to this scenario.

3Get the Iconic Satori Katana

The iconic “Satori” blade does 75 damage per hit, and is capable of attacking 3.8 times a second, making it a swift weapon to have on your side. It can actually be found during one of the earliest main missions of the game i.e. The Heist. Once you reach Yorinobu Arasak’s hotel room, continue through the story until you’re asked to leave the hotel room with the Relic in tow. But this is where you are supposed to overrule the game instructions. Before heading out of the doors onto the balcony, look for the stairs that lead up to the main portion of the roof and head up them. The door will be unlocked, allowing you access to the rooftop. This door is locked until after the cutscene that plays out before your escape. Before you head up, make sure you go to the bed and grab the weapon off the bedside table, you’re going to need it in a few moments. Follow the stairs to the roof and you’ll find several enemies that you need to fight waiting outside of an AV on the rooftop. Deal with the enemies and then open the AV to find the Satori Katana waiting inside.

2Take up the Happy Together Quest

Once you’ve finished the prologue, you’ll see a pair of NCPD officers banging on one of your neighbours’ doors. They seem to be concerned about the person inside, a guy called Barry. This might seem like one of the many scripted moments you see as you explore the world in Cyberpunk 2077, but it’s actually a trigger for an interesting quest. The guy in the apartment, Barry, is depressed about something, but the cops’ lack of sensitivity means they can’t get through to him. Which is where you, as a concerned neighbour, come in. This quest has a number of endings, including one that is pretty bleak. Although, this quest won’t affect much of your main gameplay but in terms of roleplaying and interactive storytelling goes, this side mission does dive into some heavy topics like death, depression, and PTSD. So, if you love some good old fashioned catharsis and human empathy, then you must not ignore this quest.

1Owning the fastest bike

The topmost thing to do in Cyberpunk 2077 is hopping into a vehicle and just explore Night City. The map is beautifully designed that you simply can’t afford to ignore it. And if you want to see the Night City fade away into a blur in your rear-view mirror, then you’ll need some fast rides. For this, you need to own Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X which is the fastest, and unsurprisingly, the most expensive motorcycle, originally built in collaboration with the Arasaka Corporation. Its sleek, aerodynamic frame conceals a wickedly powerful engine. The Kusanagi is a favorite among gangers, especially the Tyger Claws. Now, how you can buy it is that at some point in the game you’ll get a message from Wakaka Okado (leader of the Tyger Claws gang) offering a Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X for 22,000 eddies. So, you simply pay the amount and own it. Trust us, once you get it, you won’t want to drive anything else.
