Micro-blogging site twitter decided to move into its new headquarters and it was time for a new office. IA Interior Architects and Lundberg Design took up the responsibility of designing the new workspace in San Francisco.

The new headquarters that got designed in the year 2012 is housed in the South of Market neighborhood. Both the teams worked in full coordination in order to design the office beautifully. Where IA concentrated more on the documentation part, Lundberg Design carried out the actual work. The cafeteria is the USP of the office and it was actually an auditorium. Redesigning it in order to come up with the cafeteria was a challenge well accepted and wonderfully executed. The cafeteria stands as the exclusive part of the office.

The rooftop terrace is again an exclusive section in the workspace and Bon Apetit Management Company is contracted to provide an excellent dining experience. The open desk areas were planned near the windows so that they receive natural light and the meeting rooms and ancillary spaces were designed in the center areas. You will be able to see glass walls enclosing the internal spaces and they also serve as lanterns when lighted up. Custom conference tables, twig light fixtures and other pieces of furniture are also good to look at.

Here are the pictures from the workspace.
